All are invited to stop and visit with members of the SLAS Professional Team who are happy to discuss all the products and services we offer to our members. The Member Center will also serve as the headquarters for all career related postings for job seekers and hiring alike.

SLAS welcomes its student attendees and Academic Travel Award winners to SLAS2012 with this social event designed to help students connect with each other and with SLAS Volunteer Leaders at the start of the conference and exhibition. Check Out These Elite FIRST Competition Teams

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen to inspire an appreciation of science and technology in young people. The FIRST Robotics Competition is a multinational experience that helps young scientists see the value of education and careers in science, technology, engineering and math. SLAS is proud to welcome FIRST as a partner for SLAS2012. This year we feature The Holy Cows, FRC Team 1538, High Tech High; The Hammerheads, FRC Team 1572, Construction Tech Academy at the Kearny High Education Complex, Cowbotics, FIRST LEGO League team and Fusion, FTC Team 135 at Dehesa Charter School. Make sure to visit these outstanding young scientists as they display their winning robots and Lego creations in the SLAS Member Center.
