Hotel Information
Individual Hotel Reservations
The deadline to secure hotel rooms at the SLAS2012 group rate has passed. These hotels will still honor the SLAS2012 group rate based on availability. You must contact the hotels as outlined below to check availability and to book your accommodations. At this time, the official SLAS2012 hotels are reporting some sold out nights (February 2 and February 7 at time of this writing) however please check often with the hotel as room availability changes frequently.
SLAS2012 has contracted with two of San Diego's premier convention hotels the San Diego Marriot Marquis & Marina and the Hilton San Diego Bayfront for event participants. SLAS has negotiated discounted rates at both hotels. While the hotel rates include a rebate to SLAS to help offset the costs of the Convention Center rental, in order to keep registration costs down, the negotiated rates are below standard guest rates quoted at the hotels if you are not with SLAS. Both hotels are adjacent to the San Diego Convention Center. The Marriott hotel is headquarters and is closest to the space in the Convention Center where SLAS2012 will be held. Be sure to mention SLAS to be eligible for the SLAS group rate if space is available in the hotel.

Official Airline
American Airlines is the official carrier of SLAS2012. Receive a 5% discount off the lowest applicable published fare on AA flights. Travel Focus will automatically apply the discount to flights booked through their agency.

Airport Transportation Information
Travel from San Diego International Airport (SAN) and the two official SLAS Hotels and the San Diego Convention Center takes approximately 15 minutes. The following options are available in addition to rental car options:
